Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Practical AT (A division of Practical Accounting & Tax LLC)(“Practical AT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit this website or book a call with us. We keep it simple: we collect what we need to respond to you and run the site — nothing more.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Booking form. When you book a call through the scheduling tool embedded on this site, you provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything you choose to tell us about your business.
- Direct contact. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
- Technical data. Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this for security and to keep the site running.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule and hold calls;
- To evaluate whether and how we can help your business, and to deliver services if you become a client;
- To send you follow-up communications related to your inquiry — you can opt out at any time;
- To operate, secure, and improve the website;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate this site, and they process personal information on our behalf:
- Scheduling & CRM platform. Our booking widget and customer relationship management run on a third-party platform (currently GoHighLevel). Information you submit when booking a call is stored and processed there.
- Website hosting. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs as described above.
These providers are authorized to use your information only to provide their services to us.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We do not currently set our own cookies or run analytics trackers on this site. The embedded booking widget may set cookies that are necessary for it to function. In the future we may add analytics tools or advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel or Google tags) to measure site performance and advertising effectiveness; if we do, we will update this policy to describe them. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers described above, when required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — typically for the duration of our conversation or client relationship and a reasonable period afterward, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. This includes rights under U.S. state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) and, for visitors from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, email us at ben@practicalat.com — we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, and our service providers maintain their own security programs. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and changes take effect when posted.
